sometimes when im waiting at the lights i put it into neutral and when i want to put it into first - it just wont go.
eventually i "convince" it to go in and then im off.
can someone tell me why this happens?

yeah, makes sense.
sometimes when im sitting at the lights with the clutch in, in first gear and without the brake on, the car rolls forward really slowly.
must be the clutch.

Your problem is that your clutch is not disengaging properly.
There could be a few things causing this, the easiest solutions would be that the clutch needs bleeding, or adjusment. Other than that your slave or master cyl could be shot or the diaphram on the pressure plate is fuggered.

going into reverse always grinds a lot doesn't it?
then - clutch drag - bad pressure plate, bad clutch disk, or bad/rusty input shaft splines - if it isn't the hydraulics.
how much free play?
if it doesn't drag & have trouble with reverse, it's just the syncro hub teeth butting up against each other, and just lightly easing up on the pedal will move the transmission input shaft enough to let you push it into gear.
