i am 17 about to turn 18 and have had my sprinter since i was 16 and it is more then possible to get one and work on it from this age.. i have since buying a stock aus sprinter put in 4age etc with the help of my father, so just give him a break geeezz

You can also be lucky enough to find a straight sprinter forsale that the person selling doens't know what its worth. I almost bought a damn straight one for about 900 (from a wreckor). *sighs* If it wasn't for a mate telling me wrong street i woulda made good money off it.

Leave him alone if he is young let him learn. He is only ever going to find out if he asks questions, other wise he will learn his own way into becoming a rice boy. I am 16 and i own an imaculate 83 sprinter with no mods and if you all have no respect for that you can mind your own business and i will do the same because i have worked my ass off scince i was 11 in a liqour store to by a sprinter becuase it was my favouite car and nbow i have one.

not all 16 year olds are dicks that will write off their car as soon as they get there p's, or RICE it up!
i got my t-18 when i was 16, completely stock, smashed, blown head gasket, full of rust, check out my page in my signature...it's come a long was since then, and without a mark!
maybe his in the same boat, hence wanting a SHIT conditioned 86?
