hey all i was wondering if it was normal when say driving at 25-30km/h and putting it in first and hard to get in first, also the gear falls out easy, not that it does when driving just a tap and its out? i read somewhere that something major is wrong with the 2??
no i dont put it in 1st going 30 i was just testing, i put the clutch in and seeing if it would go into the gears easy, and first was a bit hard thats all,

Toyota 5 speed boxes never like going into first gear something about the syncro design and the speed you are going..its really for starting off from the lights mate. Try stopping first before or drain out the oil and run LSD diff oil instead that will make it squeak in. Just don't try Reverse gear OK it has NO SYNCRO and might dmage your pride somewhat .
