I have a standard Auto trans in the JZA70 that I quite like (don't write in to tell me to get a manual - I'm too lazy )
My performance mods probably put out just over 200Kw@ RW.
I've heard conflicting stories on the longevity of the trans.
Are there any mods to make it last longer apart from getting a trans fluid cooler and regularly changing the oil? What exactly is it that wears out in the auto trans?
Is there any modification that can be done to increase the efficiency of prower transmission?
It has a bit of info on the A340E gearboxes from Soarers, but should be the same as yours, and lucky you, you are in Adelaide, so you can actually visit the workshop where the mods are available.
