my car is a bit different from the one on the brochure, but i guess they want to put the fastest on the cover. Red ones go faster.

Hey Rob, nice work!
I actually have the same thing for the Series 1 ST162.
I picked it up at a motor show in 1986 when I was 14 (yeah, yeah, showing my age.....I turned 32 last Wednesday!!) and I still have it. Unfortunately the edges are a bit tatty these days but it's still readable.
I took digi photos of it, although it's probably better scanned. Want me to send them to you??

hey Matt!
heheh you should have grabbed a big fat pile of them and started selling them to suckers like me on eBay.. lol
some dude has been selling Series1 ones on eBay for sometime now, but it took ages for me to come across a Series 2 brochure..
I scan them or whatever and send 'em to me (rob@hyperstudy.com) and I will try and scan all of my one and I will stick them up online for a resource
It is funny reading the brochures, like how the 162 is the best thing ever to hit the road.

They sold for around 30 grand back then, not sure of the exact figure off the top of my head.
My earliest copy of Modern Motor (as it was known in those days) is May 1987, so I'll check a figure from that over the weekend for ya. I've only got a few magazines from the late 80s/early 90s, I didn't start getting them religiously until 1992. And unfortunately none of the mags I've got have any ST162 articles in them.......oh well.
Oh and that's the first time anyone has asked me that!
