hey ppl,
i was jus lookin over all the celica engines, jus doin a lil reseach, and had a thought, would a 3S-GTE fit into a RA60?

The general consensus is that while it would probably be the 'ideal' swap, for the mods neccessary to convert it to rwd into the A6 chassis, it is also a very expensive swap.

Just get an SA63

It already has the RWD 2S-E in it.
So you have the sump, bellhousing, etc etc all sorted.

Oh look, Clint has one cheap.

Actually the difference in overall cost would be fuck-all. The SA63 gives you the advantage of being able to bolt the 3S block to the crossmember instead of having to custom fabricate mounts, but that's one of the easiest parts of the job anyway!

Actually you dont even get it this easy. The 3S block still has the rib ground away where the mount is meant to bolt to Confused
