What does a 100Mbps connection cost per Mb of data??

ive, err, been bad at uni, and, err, been caught by the IT guys...
basically weve got a 100Mbps microwave and cable mega network. WAYYY to easy to abuse the privilages of 
so anyway - some 15Gb-20Gb of data later, and aparently clocking up 1/3 of all usage in the network over a 2 month period, im now the focus of angry looks from the IT dept. I dont want this to get too out of hand (very likely the dean of the school could get wind of it, and i dont need the hassle of a major contradiction of IT policy in the last months of my degree)...
so yeah, ive offered to pay for my quota, plus cop whatever formal slap and hoop jumping they want me to go through. QUESTION IS - what would that be likely to cost me in terms of downloaded data?
its quite a complex cable/microwave network, servicing the FAR west of nsw. im not sure if that would have an impact on the cost of data, but thought id mention it.

not sure of ball park but some telstra plans have $150 /gb
depends on the plan, im sure uni's get some sort of deal but 15-20gb is a hefty amount.
might want to grab some logs

Well done that man. It's not often you hear of people admitting they were in the wrong and putting their hand up for it. 
Far too many times people try to weasel out of things and blame everyone and everything else for their mistakes.
My philosophy has always been "chin up and cop it sweet".

Don't worry Ed, we just like to remind people that the Clinical School is
charged for data especially international traffic and there is a noticeable
cost involved with excessive downloads. All we want to do is keep things
'reasonable', that way there is less chance of anyone deciding to implement
a cost recovery scheme for data traffic which would inconvenience all users.
We were just tracking down the reason for the spike in data traffic and
nothing formal is involved - as far as we're concerned the matter is closed
so don't loose any sleep over it.
