I think you'd have trouble trying to engineer a 4AGZE powered one over here let alone a V8...

I love the idea of the bike engine based V8 version, that is awesome. As to whether you could get it registered over here, I think the emissions would be a problem as there is no way to prove the engine meets the ADR's.
However there is already this available in Australia
Sure it's a dodgy pushrod V8 but it is ~245KW and a bunch of torque in an 800 odd kilo weapon.

Would prefer 300hp in a 450 kilo mega weapon myself.

but check the price tag
sure the engineering is freeeakin awesome. but god damn... you would have to be pretty rich to just buy it for a track car.

I saw a car like this on 5th Gear a BBC program shown on Speedtv her in North America. It had two seperate bike engines, one driving the front wheels the other driving the rears.
Fast is right and boy could it spin it's tyres, till the shows test driver managed to throw one of the rods through the block.
I think I have it on video, but no way of posting it on the web for everyone to enjoy.

0-100 in 2.8 secconds
Can't be registered out here as can't get a bike engine engineered in a car. Thats what the Australian Rep for Tiger told me.
