Just gotta vent a little. Got a call from dad today:
"You didn't want those blue shocks did you?"
"Yeah why?"
"Oh, well I've thrown them out...."
My fkn TRD blue short-strokes!!!
I'm gonna give him a belated fathers day kick in the ASS.
Anyone else experienced this kind of stupidity?

i got one better
a mate of mine delivers pizzas aroudn the redlands area in brisbane
goes to a place with about 10 pizzas, guys parents are away
anyway, he sees alot of smoke comming from the garage, and a bunch of guys laying on the ground pissing themselves laughing
they hooked the blokes DR30 skyline to the wall of the garage and were pulling fullsik burnouts(rubber all over them, the wall,s ceiling, ground etc)
anyways
they managed to pull the wall down !!!
as for stupid dads
mine sent my car off to a mechanic for a $4200 rebuild which i had to pay for in 3 months...i didnt want the rebuild, i probably had a semi decent 5m-ge and manual tranny lined up for nearly a third of the price!

i seen some smoke coming out f the car so i though it needed some water , but i didnt put it in cause i thought ud knoe better , so i just left the car in the garage ,
i come home and pop the bonnet and chek the oil first and it was low so i said looks like it need oil , and he says ohhh lucky i didnt fill it with water then
he was about to fil the water in the oil filler , lollllllllllllllllllll
then says lucky i waited for u
that would have been fun

after its all done looks at it and says hmmm looks a bit crooked , then says to me it cause u were in such a hurry to get it done ,
im like wtf
measure it up then i said , 1 inch shorter on the other end hmmm something wrong with the tape measure , lollllllllllllll

dad u cutting the lawn too short ,
me -- saves u cuting it next week again

dad --- dont mix the tetras with the guppys , the angelfish can stay they too small they wont eat baby fish
next week guppy littered ,--- no baby fish

I've always thought my Dad was a bit of guru - he has clever and neat ways of doing things that I'd never think of. As you get older I think you'll understand just what your Dad was trying to tell you/show you but you were just too impatient/young/stupid to listen. For example, by throwing your shockers away he's teaching you not to clutter up the shed with all your shit!
That said, maybe I am lucky to have a mechanically and electronically gifted (if a bit of a procrustinator) dad. He never throws ANYTHING away either.
Soon (in about 2 months now!) I'll be a Dad! I'm already making a list of dad jokes to torment the kid with as it grows up

Yeah yeah, the thing that shits me is, I was over there on Sunday going through my stuff in the garage with him, telling him what to chuck and what not to...... These were the only things we didn't look at! And all the other stuff I told him to chuck, is still there!
My dad is a very cool guy, don't get me wrong.... I think he may have raided the cellar again..... Garth, you know the cellar I'm talking about!

Haha, if a weakling like me could drive it it's all good. A bus-sized Supra wheel rather than the smaller sports wheel would've made it SOO much easier though.

My dads an idiot.. cause he sold his WRX to buy a Mazda 323.. or something.. its a 4 door "sports" (its about as sports as a Tarago is convertable)... which i was pissed about.. the other thing i'm pissed about, he supports the decision to buy my stepbrother a Nissan Pulsar for his first car... and yet he won't even help me a lil with buying my Supra?!?! I know i'm not the favourite child, but fair go?!
I can't really complain about my dad though.. he's kewl in his own way.. a way that involves you teaching yourself everything and not being given things.. working for everything, so to speak.
*shrug* my dads never thrown away anything that i wanted though.. not that i remember anyhow.

When I bought an EP82 GT, it had some Jap rims on it, I bought some 16" to better the look. Ol man got the driveway stencilled, bloody bogans who were doing it, saw my old Jap Rims, ask my ol man, what are you doing with them? My ol man, kindly says: You want them? There yours! ?? WTF! I went off at him!
Another thing I really hate, is they take your car to the shops, come back with gutter scratches on the rims!

My dad does some silly things too like cutting his own hair.
It was a number 3 on top but cuz he was pushing the razor down the back of his head he ended up with a mullet .
And pulling the little circuit board this off the printer cartridge thinking it was "the little tape thing"
He is cool tho he is outside fixing the dents in my roof cuz i think i might have fractured my arm last nite a cricket training, For most people he is the go-to guy.
