did exactly this today Smile

swipe some off a 80 series landcruiser.

theyre 49mm total length (from memory) compared to 41.7mm total length of standard sedan studs. thread, dia and seating spline is all the same so theyll go right in.

didnt cost me a cent either.

dont bother going to PNPL in blacktown to find any though - i took them all Rolling Eyes

Ah, excellent, I was planning on asking exactly the same question (assume most RWD Toyotas will be the same). I will probably chase Toyota and price some new ones.

TN TM TR (?) series mitsu magnas (perhaps other mistu's aswell?) have the same dia/thread/spline as toyota studs too. theyre only 3 or 4mm longer though from my eye-balling them at the wreckers...

ill post pics of the 80 series studs when i get home

cheers

basically the only reason that im changing them is cause of the wheels on the car. The celica aint ment to have 18's with an offset ment for a 180sx on them, hence my wheel nuts dont do up far enough for me, just peice of mind i guess.
