Don't AE92 have sealed struts? If so, are the Koni's replacement strut assemblies?

For some reason I thought Koni only made inserts.

Rears are complete units.. Fronts use inserts in the original struts.

$1100 for Koni shocks, plus springs & also labour sounds a little too good to me? I would think parts alone would come to at least that much Confused

Plus - what the hell are they talking about cutting??!

yeh sorry i wasnt clear before.
the superlows are already on my car.

cutting the struts to suit the shocks ?
i dunno too much about how it works though.

so the rears are complete including struts do you say?
i forgot to ask , i know the fronts are defintely inserts i just assumed the rears were too.

just went to allsprings today at moorebank, got some outrageous price for 1880 for konis sports adjustable fitted to my car with the current height including, labour and cutting down the struts to suit for short travel.
