Funney shit this movie was, downloaded it today and just finished watching it, i gave it 3.5 out of 5 for funny factor...

I really didn't like Dodgeball. The script sucked. It relied on Ben Stiller's name to make people think it would be funny.
2 out of 5 stars for me.
Had some great actors in it, but they didn't have anything to work with. They used Stephen Root's character from Office Space almost exactly, but couldn't make it funny (just hit him in the nuts, everyone will laugh!).
Lots of getting hit in the nuts, which is SOMETIMES funny on funniest home videos but there were no supprises on when it was used in this movie.
crappety crap crap.
No way near the comedy of movies like Euro Trip or Super Troopers.

ROFL. Ben stiller is gold. He's invented this new comedy where atfirst glance its not funny at all, but after getting to know his style of comedy it just makes u go 'hah' to every line he delivers. Dodgeball is great. Not on the floor laughing material.. but more of a smirk enducer that has you laughing inside at its stupidity.

Don't compare Super Troopers to Dodgeball, they are in different types of comedy. Dodgeball is silly/stupid humor, where as I like to think of Super Trooper as smart comedy..
Others probably think differently.

Nope... I think the same. 
There's too much silly/stupid comedy around these days. I can't stand it. When I complain about how these movies are not funny, just dumb, my friends tell me to get a sense of humour. It pisses me off big time.
eg: The Simpsons and Family Guy are "smart humour" cartoons while Looney Tunes is "stupid humour".
