fitting RX7 S4 brakes to sprinter

i have finally got a sprinter to put my gze into, and now am thinking of brake upgrades. no doubt i need an upgrade to get the car engineered but i would be anyway. i know some ppl have RX7 S4 rotors and calipers on the front and this is what i was thinking of doing. does anyone have this setup? my main concern is the custom brackets required. does anyone know a workshop that can do this cheaply so it will be legal? also ive heard of people using hilux surf four spotters and some other rotors anyone know of this? which will work out cheaper?
thanks in advance.

Yes I want to know about this also!!!!
Interesting I have never heard of the Hilux SURF having 4spot calipers!!! Would like to know more about it though.
I too have a AE86 awaiting a GZE conversion.
Cheers,
Adrian!

i don't know about the "surf" but many hilux, infact i think all 4WD models had 4 spots. i have LN106 calipers on my TA22 as part of the corona/pug/hilux brake upgrade!!
as for the RX7 calipers... these are an excellent option as they are lighter than the hilux calipers. whatever is done to fit these to a sprinter will require custom modifications, none of which are very difficult.
you could contact IDB Automotive in Richmond Victoria as they have kits using RX7 4 post and corvette derived discs. if you want other options, either look into doing it yourself whatever way works, or get hold of MR20V here on the forums as i know he has this setup on his sprinter...

yeh surfs have 4 spot calipers, they are turbo after all and quite heavy. im not so worried about the small weight difference as it will probably be small in comparison to the planned hilux diff
does anyone know any workshops in sydney good for this? i wanna get some prices for the whole kit and just the mounts so i can see if i can source the parts seperately cheaper.
