mx73 5mge loom Mon, 13 September 2004 03:11 Go to next message
when the loom comes through the firewall it splits into five plugs. three go to the ecu and two go elsewhere. can anyone give me an idea on where these go/what they control.

I have a close idea that they are gauges and auto stuff but i am not 100%

i have an auto elec coming around tomorrow and i need to know what these wires do. thanks

Some of it will be gauges etc, some will be stuff like starter circuit, fuel pump circuit etc. There's an MA61 wiring diagram floating around on the net somewhere (a search on www.celicasupra.com should turn it up) which should closely match your MX73.

There should be three that go to the ECU and two for the body loom.
I have a complete service manual for the MX73 plus I have just recently removed a 5MGE and i'm in the process of wiring a 1UZ into the same car Very Happy
