which bit is the ingiter, is it part of the coil?
anybody know if 4AFE bits are interchangable? the one i have has 4 pins, if that helps

4AFE has the coil inside the dizzy from memory.

dunno bout the dizzy but the thing in those last couple of pics i have both in my 100kw one on each side of the engine bay. i thought that the big black thing with the two wire plug was the coil and that other flat thing with the 5 wire plug was the igniter.

Hunty, thanks a lot for that, is your car running a standard 100kw loom? cause i know how easy it is to end up collecting bits from everything.
does it look exactly the same? i looked for a plug on my cut 100kw loom, but i think it is too cut up to have it there.

anyway, im hoping it will plug up and take away another excuse for not having my car on the road.

Looks to be the same ignitor size/pins as the 100kw one i have in the garage. The part number is the 12345-12345 in the black box. Written in silver.
I think its just someone has customised their own coil/ignitor assembly.

yep 100kw loom
my igniter has come from a wrecker by the looks its got AE92 4AGE written on it in pink posca! lol it all came as part of the engine package
but yeh i couldnt put the coil and igniter together like that because the wires for each ended up only strectchin to each end of the engine bay, ive got the coil on teh driver side strut tower and the igniter on the passenger side tower

the 89621-30010 should be part number for the igniter only.
19070-38230 should be part number for coil/igniter assembly (as it says on the stickers  )
anyone with an EPC wanna look them up?

The igniter could be from any late model 4 cylinder Toyota as they are all interchangable(all use the same pin out's) judging by the numbers this is either a GE 20V item or a GZE or 3S...It actually looks like the one in my fleet of 22R Hilux's, Bracket and all!
