You Can purchase the TRD 2000GT MR2 widebodykit from the TRD catalogue at Castle Hill Toyota Spare Parts. Its abit pricey though.

One point i gotta make out is,

N E V E R, buy a kit from (Business name removed). I bought a "COPY" TRD widebodykit there from (Business name removed) about 2 1/2 years ago, yet to find out that it would never fit! We tried everything to make it fit, just wouldnt. These frikn guys rort everyone who buys kits from them. I heard they "copy" the kits in Hong Kong, first they buy the "GENUINE" kit then they fibreglass on top of the "GENUINE" kit and make copies of it, Thats why they never fit!

So I ended up forking out a few grand and that went down the drain along with the kit, I complained for months to the manager about this, but never got a refund. The copy kit has been sold to another "Matt black paint MR2" in Wollongong NSW yet he has never found a way to fit it, it has gaps everywhere, ripples on each front/rear qtr, ALL 11 pieces dont fit at all!....

I ended up waiting another year of saving up, and I bought ordered myself a "GENUINE" TRD 2000GT Widebodykit and shipped it to my friends workshop in Wetherill Park. Spent roughly abit over $6k (well prices for the kit dropped from $13k to $8k AUD since 1999 when it was manaufactured). The "GENUINE" fit is
" F L A W L E S S " Smack, bang, straight in like factory. Search around, it may be cheaper now, but i doubt you'll be able to buy one under $5k, anything under this price id be suss it may be a copy.

I went through all this trouble for the love of my MR2 GT-S.

Hey thanks man...
Glad to see there's MR2 freaks out there too...

I dont have pics here dude, most of them are on my laptop at work. Are you going to Toyota Fest on Sunday? I'll be there for sure, so you can see it then. I have Carl?? one of the admin dudes here checking out my TV and MP3 player as its for sale.

I have a GEN2 engine in mine, car model just missed the cutoff for GEN3's as mine was made July '93....Darn.
Internally mine stock, manually boosted to 16 psi, cuts out on winter OR without Octane Booster on top of optimax. Has a Blitz BOV, Apexi Muffler, 3inch stainless from turbo back, 3inchdown pipe from BD4's, Trust airfilter stock ECU. Dynoed at C&V performance 3years ago when my car was black 163kw@ rearwheels...I recently got it dynoed at this years Sydney Autosalon a UNHEALTHY UNTUNED 131 kw @rears on 13psi as boost was cutting out on 16psi, coz my car just came out of a 5month wait for a full strip paintjob.

I have a GEN3 halfcut from a 1996 MR2 GT-S sitting at my cousins workshop, bought from SSS Automotive Girraween NSW. Im still saving up $30k for CRD Croydon Racing Development to put 500hp - 330+kw @ Engine to the GEN3 3SGTE powerplant. Hopefully i'll be sending this to CRD within the next year. When done i'll get them to pull out the GEN2 currently in my car and throw in the 500hp GEN3 motor, with this way my car doesnt have to sit in the workshop for months, paintjob wont get scratched and stuff....BuT, when they put in they'll have to tune and adjust bits and pieces for a week.

its VERY useful, helpful for your MR2. Even though its a UK site, all MR2 fans, freaks, Geeks have put together a problem solving answer to all our worries or dreams to help build the MR2 live for life.
