i know i have no right to complain but i will anyway.
coming home from the gf's tonight, pulled over for a random breath test. im in the new sprinter (yay) and i got no P's on. so now i got 1 point left. im on my green P's but i lost 3 for speeding last year so that left me with three and now ive lost two more. is it just me or are the female cops real bitches compared to the guys? (not meaning to be sexist but going from experience). dont they have something better to do? like catch criminal rapists and drug dealers? i mean i think ive been pretty good. i ALWAYS have my P's on but just not this one time. i was gonna get some today but finished work late.. how annoying.
ok im done.

man. thats crap. i'd have to say they are tight.
my friend was sitting in the drivers seat of his car, drunk, not moving just sitting with the accessories on listening to the radio and the cops padiwagon pulled up infront on him and called him out.
they gave him a big lecture and said that it was a $500 fine for what he was doing.. ie. being drunk and having the keys in the ignition.
they let him off. so he drove home. he's a dickhead. but he'll learn some day.

Yeah female cops are real slags! They all have fat arses from sitting on it all day and they think they are tough with the gun on their belt! Take that gun away and they are like little girls in the dark! When I did my security training I was in with a bunch of cops that were doing the same thing and they are useless! But it really made me feel good when I went up against them practicing some self defence moves

No it's actually $70 and two de-merit points for not displaying either or both p-plate/s. They don't fine you twice.
And you don't have one point left now EVO, you've actually got 5 demerit points. Everyone starts on ZERO points and you gain demerit points for committing traffic offences. The amount of points you can get before having your license suspended are;
P1- 3 points
P2- 6 points
Unrestricted- 12 points
It is only when you accumulate MORE than these limit that you will lose you license for a certain period of time. So EVO, you can get one more one pointer and you'll be ok. Stick to 15 and under and all will be well

I've only had 2 points left since early January and had been doing it fairly easily until I made a silly move and bought a Twin Turbo car!
Anyway Saturday night, went on a cruise with Australian Lexus soarers club. Real cool night cruised all through the city and had a ball.
Was running late to pick up my G/F and so on the way back was doing a little over the speed limit and got pulled over by an undercover copper.
Turns out I was doing 85 in a 60 zone..... Thought my life was over!
Managed to convince the copper that I was new to the area and didn't know the speed limit so he let me off with a warning!
Only 8 months more till I get some points back

Hey, are you dudes sure P1s only allow 3 demerits before you lose them? I lost 3 points last year and didn't hear a thing about losing my license. I thougt reds were 6 points.

Here is tassie we have it easy. $50 fine no matter if it is 1 or 2 plates missing and 1 point.
In Tassie we only have to display P plates for 1 year and have 4 points. In my first year I lost 3 points with 3 seperate offences, it was a woman each time. I also had 9 points worth of warnings and they were blokes each time.

if evo had 6 points and has lost 5 points, he is left with 1 point.
so if he gets done for another offence which is worth 1 or more points, he won't have anymore points, so his licence will be suspended.
so basically you cannot get done again when you have 1 point left.
you cant keep your licence when you have zero points.
i was done for speeding and lost 4 points all at once on my red p's (on red p's you get 4 points)
they then suspended my licence for 3 months (back in 1998) because i lost all 4 and had 0 left
hope this helps!

damn i dont get on the net enough.
for whoever asked, i live in glenfield but my gf lives in raby so not too far away from eaglevale
i know technically you statr off with no points and earn 'demerit' points. but its easier on my brain if i just say i got points and lose them. so in my way of thinking i had four on my red's and lost three leaving me with one. got two more when i went to greens giving me three, and lost two on monday.
yes its 1 point per p plate, and i also thought it was $74 per p plate but my fine only says $74 so maybe i was lucky.
for some ppl it would be hard to last a year and a half on one point, but for me it is. i mean who doesnt cruse a little over the limit? and all i need to happen is one of my p plates fall off and its all over.

some cops are arseholes... others are nice, and will let you go if you were in control of your car, or if they like the look of your car

I am in South Australia on p's i only get 4 points to start with. A friend got caught for talking on a mobile when he really wasn't. He started arguing to the cop and they said he was speeding as well so he lost his license and they defected his car as well so he couldn't sell it for much. Took it to Regency to get the defect off and they defected him for 28 more things!
Fucken pigs.
