Just Tsuchiya mentions on that drift bible that you should often "rehaul" you LSD? What is rehauling exactly?

Probably just a poor translation of overhaul / rebuild.

get a torsen centre
shouldnt need to "rehaul" that very often

i'd say that drift monkey dude mentions that overhauls would be essential due to the fact that most(as far as i know) LSD's have a clutch pack which wears out over time(faster if you give her a good ol' frequent thrashing)

sounds expensive. Has anyone actually had to get a 1.5 or 2way mech diff overhauled and rebuilt? or would you simply be better off buying a new unit

actually thats not as bad as i thought it was, i'd heard reports of it costing more than the diff itself was worth (probably true if your using an older diff) but it seems worth it if your gonna use a kaaz unit or something similar

Torsion centre? Which is?

That would be "TorSen" (short for Torque Sensing). Otherwise known as a helical LSD. It has no clutches or other wear items, so there's no need to periodically "rehaul" it.
