Another 5mge wiring question

what do the plugs that come out of the engine loom at half way do? there is a white round, clear round, clear square and a medium thick black wire connector. I am guessing fuel pump and neutral start swith and maybe a starter motor wire.
can anyone have a look and give me some definate answers on each connector please?
At least when someone does a search in the future you wont be bugged with these questions. Thanks

Does the white round one have a yellow, black, maybe a pink, and maybe some more?

If so, its part of the auto.
Maybe the position switches for the dash lights (L, 2, D, R, P)
I'm not sure about the clear ones, but I can't remember ever seeing them in my engine bay.
The black one sounds like the start trigger.
But nothing you have mentioned corresponds to the neutral start switch in my experience.
And the fuel pump stuff doesnt go near the engine bay.
It goes to the boot.

thanks again cruzsida. Im trying to juggle work girlfriend uni and engine conversion on student budget while having to drive a 1963 volkswagen beetle that has no brakes. need all the help i can get.
