spark between extractor and engine block
Wed, 15 September 2004 07:28
i was trying to change my 4age oil filter (still not done). I had the wrench on the filter and couldnt find enough space to turn the wrench. I decided to turn it with the wrench between the extractors and engine block. Wrench was metal and it sparked a when it touched something behind the extractors.
how did that happen? What could it had touched? Can sparks be caused by touching the extractor and eng. block at the same time? I had one of my spark plug cables out, could that be a reason in anyway? ignition was off as well.
