oil question

hey,
Ive got a ae92 corolla se 4af hatch,
Ive just changed my oil and oil filter not long ago. When i was pouring the oil in at the time i checked the dipstick and the level seemed to be just about at the "full" level, so i left it as that (the ground was level BTW). A few days later i checked it again and some how the oil level was just a bit over the 'full' line on the dipstick...... maybe about half a centimeter. Who knows if having that much oil too much will affect anything. Like is it damaging anything on my car??
Also, on the day i changed the oil and oil filter, i changed the air and fuel filters too. And now, after that day, for some reason my car is running a bit strange... I mean, normally when im in 1st gear if i rev it to 3000 i would be going 20km/h. 2nd to 3000RPM - 40km/h and in 3rd - 60km/h.
But now, in 1st i go about a bit less than 20km/h, 2nd - 30km/h and in 3rd 3000rpm i go bout 50km/h. Whats the deal with that?? you reckon it has something to do with what id changed or am i just paranoid????

U must have put in thicker oil than b4 thinner oil will rev the engine more easily han thicker oil
heat expands the oil thats why u seen more oil later should be ok though half a cm isnt anythin to worry

The only way your speed in the gears could be different is if something in your driveline is slipping or your speedo has decided to go crazy.
Perhaps your clutch is worn out and is slipping?
I'll bet money you are just being paranoid tho.

Also if you checked the dipstick just after you poured the oil in it may not have all run down to the oil pan yet... then when you checked it later it was probably all in the oil pan so the dipstick showed more oil.
