As above does anyone know the correct way to calibrate the TPS on a 4AGZE? since swapping over to 3SGE TB i havent calibrated it properly yet. theres no major issue but light throttle and on/of throttle can be a bit jerky at times. any help? Smile

its a 4 wire variable with earth switch same as 3sge and most late model toyotas

Completely close the throttle, unplug the TPS, and measure the resistance that goes from Short Circuit to Open circuit as soon as the throttle is touched.

Then move the throttle minutely.
Adjust the TPS until it changes from SC to OC.
Let go of the throttle, making sure it goes back to SC.
Tighten TPS

i know it sounds a bit stupid and easy..but all i did was loosen it..move it a tad..go for a drive..etc..etc..trial and error..i have the same setup on my ZE..it's perfect now..

between the red wire and the brown wire u should have about 0.4
volts with ignition on

u should also have 0 volts between the blue and the brown
