	| Ok it took a while but I found the stats... 
 the 18r engines that don't start with "18r-G" make NO POWER at BUGGER-ALL rpms.
 
 just in case you didn't already know, the only 18r worth considering is the 18r-g. the rest are beyond help I'm afraid.

	| 18R = OHC, carbie, no pollution gear 18R-C = OHC, carbie, with californian pollution gear
 18R-B = OHC, twin down draft carbie, dunno about pollution gear
 18R-G = DOHC, twin sidedraft carbie
 18R-GEU = DOHC, EFI, with jap pollution gear
