i was trying to fit a cd player in the wifes car (Ae82) factory location and its to long ,it hits the heater ducting what have others done to fix this and if this is in the wrong place im sorry [Report message to a moderator]

the ae82 has a double din style thing right? there shoudlnt be any clearance issue if your putting it in the bottom slot ie on top of the ciggy ash tray. mine fitts without a problem and still plenty of room to get my hand up behind there and plug in amp cables. cheers [Report message to a moderator]

sometimes they can be a tight fit wit the extra security plate, you can always get a file and shave some of the hole away to fit it nicely. [Report message to a moderator]

yeah my rca's hit the duct when it was in the top slot...i swapped it to the bottom slot and now i cant have my hand on the gearstick and change the station at the same time...weeee [Report message to a moderator]
