cam sensor seal Thu, 16 September 2004 22:52 Go to next message
the seal in my cam sensor is stuffed, hence a small oil leak. is it hard to change this? ie the sensor doesn't have to be re-aligned when put back on? (4agze)

cheers

Not hard to change at all if you're talking about the oring which seals the sensor to the head.

You will have to realign it though, but as long as you're careful you won't have any trouble. Might be a good idea to have a timing light handy to check if you're timing is right when you put it back in.
