	| Sounds too expensive to me...
Depending on your car... but for the early Celica's

Balljoints are like $20 each side
Rear shocks ( depends on brand ) but some KYB's are $150 or so
Why u need lower & upper control arms? Bent?
Depending what bushes being replaced. but to replace everyone in my car was $250 - $300.

 Wheel alignment $40

	| Well if your control arms are moving around thats the bushes you need to replace. Not the actual arms. | |

	| just get an itemised bill with labour cost at the bottom, you will soon see what he is ripping you off on. Also it wouldnt hurt to ask another mechanic. | |

	| well these are the joys of owning a car
when u start to work on suspension bits it can be expensive

removing bushes pressign them in and out can be time consuming

so most of the things u said will be labour

	| Looks about right to me...
The biggest cost you have there are the upper and lower control arms which unless you have bent them in a acco should never have to be replaced.
