i was wondering if it was possible to fit a holley carby on an 4afe engine in an ae92 cs limited corolla. My carby is gone and i was wondering if i could fit one on to get some extra power out of my car. any power increase would be better than what it is now Embarassed

thankyou for any comments or information

ps. any details on the holley carbys and also were to get them would be appreciated too

Recondition your 4AFE one. It's designed to go there and work with your engine.

If you really had to fit a larger carb, at least use something decent and better suited like a Weber DGV32/36 from a Ford Escort 2litre.

What he said. A bigger carby does nothing on its own apart from increase fuel consumption and make your car run poorly at low rpm. It can be worthwhile in conjunction with other mods (eg cams and headwork), but on a stock engine it will be a step backwards.
