Battery re-location legality?

Hi guys, i know there is quite few threads on similar issues at the moment but i was wondering about the legality of doing this procedure. As far as i can tell, it is legal to relocate the batt to the boot of a car, as long as it is properly secured and enclosed in a box which vents to outside. Is there any difference between these regulations and having a rear located batt in say an ra28 where it is technically more of an in cabin mounting rather than in a boot as such?
I am aware of the CAMS regs on isolation switches and mountings, but was curious about the regs for having an in-car batt?
If anyone has looked into the fine print of this i would be curious to hear your thoughts.
Thanks guys.
Tom

Incorrect. No state in Australia will allow any battery to not be vented to the out side. This includes sealed batteries such as the Oddyseys!

Whoops didnt know that... Ive had my battery in the back of most of my cars...
Ive been pulled over a few times and questioned over it. The coppers didnt seem to mind it being there when I told them it was a sealed battery.
I got a 550CCA Odyssey Battery for $300... Expensive but you can mount them any way you like sideways or even upside down and they are a true deep cycle battery...
