Hi,
Opera is your friend as well.
Little tip- If you travel around a bit, and have a USB memory stick, you can load Mozilla on to the stick, and have all your bookmarks and preferences all in front of you.
Cheers

did you actually delete it as in completely remove it from your computer? if not:
go start -> run -> iexplore
that should open it...
if you did completely remove it then, you'd probably need to download it and install it again.

Best move you ever made.. Even if you don't browse the internet anymore, or use firefox or opera or one of the others, FFS LEAVE INTERNET EXPLORER OFF.. Apart from it's painful interface, the list of vulnerabilities is just ridiculous.

Actually, you can store your bookmarks on an ftp server. There's an extension called Bookmark Synchroniser. Get it. Use it. Love it.

My internet Explorer has always been fucked for some reaosn on this pc, resinstall windows, with IE or diff makes of IE..
eventually they all end up, "loading" but not displaying the page, stays a grey screen. And eventually freezes and wont close without a forced close via task manager.
I am using Crazy broswer right now.
But whats shits me is since MSN is made by Micrsoft, it auto open/uses IE for certain functions....
And have to go throught the freezing and kill shit again.
I know how to "remove" it (windows progaram add/remove), but it can still open and operate when prompted by MSN etc.
How do u completely kil the fuccin thing so it is dead and non existant

IE is inexplicably intertwined with Windoze, you can't delete IE without destroying your Windoze.
Just live with that fact. Or install Linux.

For the standard user, the main advantages of Firefox are:
* Pop up blocking
* Ad blocking
* Tab browsing (you don't know how good it is until you try it *middle click* *middle click*)
* It's super fast, especially with the tweaks that I posted previously
It's very standards compliant and renders most pages like IE (except where IE doesn't comply to the standards).

design standards complain web pages, not for specific browsers...
all browsers render html differently - even the more standards-compliant ones like firefox, opera, mozilla, Konqourer, safari etc will have variations in how their HTML rendering engines function.
A - learn about writing compliant code
B - use stylesheets not html to control your layout
C - test everything

Would love to install linux - but I bought a Dell, and Dell went to great lengths to make sure their SATA controllers are only compatible with windows...No drivers as of yet to support the Dell SATA on linux, and none planned by Dell.
Stupid Dell, Stupid MS and stupid me for buying the shit!
