1GG Help Gauges Specs Help

I am about to purchase some VDO Gauges for my 1GGZE, I am still only learning about this engine, so be nice.
Do I need a mechanical or electrical oil pressure guage and what kpa will I need the gauge to go to? 5 or 10.
Also wanted a guage to monitor the super charger. Do I use a standard mechanical boost gauge 0-15psi or something else like a vacuum gauge?

mechanical would be easier - electrical would require sensor to suit your guage - as for pressure, search this site for "oil pressure". fwiw: my 18RCt oil pressure is about >60 psi when cold and revving

well - if plumbed in after the SC you'll need a guage that does boost (and vacuum) - why you would have one ahead of the SC to see vacuum-only is a hard question...
fwiw: i have an autometer guage that reads boost & vacuum.
fwiw2: i think the 1G-GTE's can take boost up to about 15psi on factory setup, i think GZE boosts a lot lower - is that any help for slecting yoru boost guage?
