Hello everyone. I drive a 1997 Toyota Chaser Tourer V. I am in the United States Air Force and I am currently in Korea. My car is still in Okinawa Japan, which is where I will be going after I finish my year here. I still have a ways to go with the tuning, but hopefully when I am done it will be one sick machine. If you guys would like more info on Japan motors and parts, you could check out this forum, zeroyon.com. It was started by some military guys stationed in Okinawa and into racing. Nice to see a forum dedicated to Toyota, as soon as I drove my Chaser I was hooked for life on Toyota.

Hi,
Welcome aboard. It's a RHD eh? Does that feel unusual, coming from a LHD country?
Nice car you've got there. Keep us posted as you progress through your upgrades.
When you get to the land of the rising sun give us a hoy, maybe you can get some parts for us.

thanks for the warm welcome everyone, execpt for the guy that called me a bastard There are a few blue ae86's over there so I might have a hard time finding the guy. It took me about a week to get used to driving on the right side of the car.I will keep you guys posted on the mods. Right now I am making the car wider in the rear to fit the new 18x11 volk gt7's. I will also changing the mirrors out and putting vents in the front fenders along with some Koki taillights(later version 100chaser). The front fenders will also be flared a bit. After that its time to build the engine from the ground up. I am still looking at how much I can bore it out without having to sleave the cyclinders. I am aiming for 600rwhp.

Hi,
Awww, don't worry about slut. He's always calling us bastards, but that's an Aussie term of endearment.
600rwhp eh? You're gonna need a meaty drivetrain to handle that.
And hey, don't overdo the bling or rice and spoil it, else slut (and a few more of us) may have some other choice words.
We're expecting pics of your work!

i know he was just joking that why i was almost every mod on my car is funtional so it cant be called rice I plan on putting an OS gearset in the tranny, and I already have a KAAZ 2way lsd which is bulletproof. I might need to upgrade my clutch from a twin to a triple though. I will find out if I break it.... It will be awhile before i have any pictures though. I wont get back to Okinawa until next July.
