Bottom of front windscreen is probably rusted enough to allow water past the rubber.

OZboy, take off the 2 plastic covers in front of the windscreen and have a look inside. Then remove all the leaves and crap that have been accumulating for the past 30 years, then check for "Rust". If the windscreen lip has rusted away, don't despair, as a good panel beater should be able to graft on some new metal. Whatever you do, do not try using Silastic to stop the leak. The acetic acid in these type of sealers promotes rust!

regards Chuck.
