3tgte corona ?

hi
me and some mates have been told that a 3tgte should bolt in quiet easy i was just wondering what would i have to do to get it in. do i have to make a new set of mounts,can i use the auto box i will upgrade to a maunal,do i have to get the turbo piping custom made. the car is a st141 with a 2litre

If you could find a TT142 donor car (ie Corona with factory-fitted 3T-GTE) it would be a practically bolt-in job. Short of that though you're looking at custom mounts etc, same as any other engine conversion.

and turbo piping will pretty much always have to be done custom if you are running an intercooler. that said, these don't have one standard and you could just run it as it came from factory, but most people seem to upgrade from this situation as quickly as possible

There is a fair chance that the crossmember out of a T powered celica will be a bolt in for the Corona. Look for TA60 celica as it came with a 2T motor.

You're just as likely to find a TT142 Corona as a TA60 Celica in Australia, ie not very.
