 1JZ Digi Dash info Needed...

Ok, I've just got the chaser 1/2 cut, well, the transit co does and i've inspected it...however, no digital dash...I have a few queries that need answering....
1. Does the digital dash have any extra "lights" etc over the original cressida dash or is it just a digital version.
2. Can it be wired up successfully to the old cressie dash, is this difficult?
3. Can I get a dash from a 1JZ soarer and should that work ok...
I think that covers it...thanks in advance for the help...
ps. anyone with info regarding the swap, wiring, part diagrams etc, please email me the stuff...I'd be greatly appreciating it...

I'm pretty sure the Digi Dashes (Soarer, Supra, Chaser etc) on 1J powered cars are specific to the ECU that runs them. I don't believe the ECUs are plug compatible and as such the Digi Dashes are not necessarily interchangeable - but for a $100 bucks you can prove otherwise.

Id imagine they are dependant on their relative ECU's , as the supra 1JZ digidash is has a unique speedo signal, and i know it wont work with other ECU's (as far as the speedo goes at least).

its out of a half cut so i havent any special plans for it, im going to have enough fun getting my dash configured to the 1J
