Hey guys, I am in the process of putting the celica back together and need help in locating an engineer to approve the mods and also wanted to know what other people have been charged to get the same conversion approved...the car is a follows.....73 st celica, 3tgteu engine, so far I have put a 2.5 mandrel bent exhaust,rush air filter,battery in the boot,4 wheels disc brakes off later model corona bigger front vented discs off later model celica,unleded filler nozel,16inch front wheel drive offset rims with 40 series tyres,st185 seats,front mount intercooler, i think that is about it..any help will be greatly appreciated...

Talk to Vicroads, 13 11 71 I think, they can send you a list of relevant ADRs. They are a bit enigmatic and often open to interperetation, but they are a start.
More importantly they can also send you a list of all registered automotive engineers in Vic. Then you can go out to some of them and discuss your project. I'd recommend NOT just calling them, imagine how many wankers they have ringing up asking about their fooly sik conversions. A personal appearance may get a better response.
