Why can't I bring myself to part with my hachi?

So days before I'm planning to go ahead with the engine conversion, my hachi decides its time to bring all the complaints and failures it's been having and bring them all to a head.
Brakes, wheel bearings, suspension, interior and instrument lights... I've never been so ready to jump on my cars roof and burn it afterwards 
But I instaid bite the bullet, instaid of doing the logical thing and trading in/wrecking my 21 year old banger, I spend all my money fixing it! why? why must I love it so...

i dont know why, but this is the general feeling of most ae86 owners when the damn things break... constantly. hehe shit i know its like that with me. the mrs doesnt feel the same way
