icon5.gif  Car respray questions... Wed, 22 September 2004 10:13 Go to next message

Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone knows the approximate price that i would expect to pay to respray a Sprinter? Only in 2-pak, not 4-pak. Does the price vary from colour to colour? Any help appreciated!

Yep, I'd also recommend the 6 pak. It will take that or maybe even a 12 pak by the time you finish the job.

Cheers,
Simon

how long is a piece of string.
as above, 6-pack is much nicer, better value for money.
Laughing
but seriously...
does it need panel beating/rust repairs, what condition is the existing paint in, bare metal job or paint over, door sills?, boot?, interior?, engine bay?, colour change or same colour?
price will vary from paint to paint.

Around $1000 for just the spray, that should include all paint, removal and covering of anything, Shop around, ask for references/pics of previous cars, you'll find someone.

Cheers

wow, 12-pak! I must have been reading some really old articles! So 6-pak is the go then? I only want to change the colour of the car, probably to a glossy black. No panel damage to speak of, only a little rust in places. The engine bay i dont need painted, only all the exterior parts of the car.
