i'm in perth, and interested in buying an early 90's tt soarer; nothing too huge, just a nice clean, fairly stock machine.

Hev a look on the Australian Lexus Soarer Club website. One was advertised in Perth for $10K, but one of our east coast members bought it I believe.
Keep looking on ALSC. They come up 4 sale.

jzz30man - yeah, i've got a similar thread on the alsc forums. missed that car by about 3 days.
ae95 - been scouring the quokka for the last 3 weeks...get the feeling that perth, being that bit isolated, has got a lot of people with a slightly inflated idea of the worth of their soarers.
all closer to 15k.
my prob is, if i push out my buying price to 14k, i blow my cash reserve for comp. insurance, which i'd prefer not to do.
anyways, cheers for the help

ae95 - i actually had a gander at that one sunday morning, going for a second look and test-drive with a mate who knows turbos and soarers. right price, body and interior in right condition, assuming the engine is good, i may have myself a new car...
only problem with it is, can i look cool in a gold soarer???
