Hi

Granma decide to give up driving at 89 therefore I now have got her '79 RA40 Liftback 18r-c auto. Original motor had under 60k when given to me a few months back. Serviced by a mechanic relative on the other side of the family that I deserves to be punch out after her death as she does not need any stress Evil or Very Mad . Goes shit at the moment but that is probably the r-c and not really tuned, got rattle under work dont know whether its cam chains or valves. Colour white, no rust only dust but not much of that either Endrusted and basically driven only enough to keep it running. Interior black immaculate.I would like to keep as original as possible, means to outragous mods.

What I would like to do is:

put an 18rg in it(but might have to find one first seems like they are getting rare and even then probably need to rebuild). Performance wise as bad as my old Kombi's and I thought Celicas were Toyotas sports model.

I like a original wing mirror on the lhs, therefore have to change glass in door. I used to driving mostly Kombi and all cars prior had left hand mirrors.

I like a window wiper on the rear window now I getting used to using the rear view for the wet.

Cheers dont know what I am doing my girls away and I been having some beers
