Found this on the tradingpost today.. anyone checked it out yet?
seems cheap for an 88sc
http://www.mg-motors.com.au
under their inventory go to the letter "T" and the aw11 should be there..

seems like a good buy depending on the condition
i'd pay up to 10g for an aw11 if it was close to perfect
wish i thought of this before i bought mine

well it looks pretty good but such a low price from a used car dealer tells me that something is wrong. Someone local should check her out...

the car yard that is selling buys all these cars at newcastle auction where they are cheap as so there might not be to much wrong with it

I Paid $8500 for mine. There is no doubt that it has had a bash in the front drivers side corner but no panels replaced. That car has "t" tops where mine is a hardtop. Same colour scheme as mine too. the item that was incorrrect when mine was advertises was that it was an '88, wheras it's actually an '86. So far I have spent around $4k on mine doing the suspension and gearbox but aside from that, it's a good, straight car. That one looks pretty good too. I find that a good indication of condition is the fit of the popup headlights. If they dont fit straight in their little bonnet cutaways, it's a good indication of a front ender. Anyway, do the normal chekcs on it, body seams, rust, general paint cond, interior etc and if it's clean and straight that's a pretty good price.
