aftermarket, i know you can get them from earl's, but what i would do is get some aluminium flat section, some steel rod the same diameter of the tubing and hammer (so it ends up in a "P" cross section) the aluminium around it then drill holes through for bolts.

or use zip ties Rolling Eyes

mmm zip ties?? no... Wink

had that thought, but i want a compact mounting for two tubes, with plastic/rubber to prevent chafing... must satisfy engineer Wink

hmmmm, maybe .. drill hole in middle, and bend each end around a 15mm metal former, so the ends meet up in the middle and have hole in them....then slit a length of fuel tube to be the 'cushion'

still sounds harder to make them look neat... than unbolting off another car Wink
but i'll give it a go.

Stewart,

The company called "Wurth" (German parts and tool company etc) makes something that sounds like exactly what you are after.

The "P" shaped bracket is steel with rubber on the part that would be in contact with the hose. They come in more sizes than you can poke a stick at and cost very little. They look uber neat and weight SFA.

I only know they exist because we used to use and buy heaps of them when I worked in a bike shop.

They sound like they would do the job you want.

Anyone who deals with Wurth (most car parts places) could get you a box of 25 of them. Better than zip-ties!

these are nice, but overkill..non-cushioned and single pipe only

these are also interesting

but a donor car could be easier Wink
