BRAKE UPGRADES

Hey guys
I have access to getting custom brake upgrades made up for interested parties.
I am looking at getting kits made for various cars.
Any suggestions on the type of cars that require upgrades and what type of upgrades are requires (as in, rotors, calipers) etc
Thanks
T

Hiya,
Not to put a dampner on the idea, but I also considered something like that for a specific model only, and it is just too hard. Too many options, too many buget differences, too many different opinions etc.
I'd suggest that do what you want to do, keep a good record of all of the bits etc and let people know about it.
It is too hard to make a 'generic' kit/s to suit. But feel free to try
Cheers

PS Look at what Ed and I are doing. At least we are using the same disc and hub, but there the similarity ends - calipers, mags are different and make a HUGE difference

i was going to suggest the KE series.. except to fit 15" rims..
thing is tho, most ppl with early corollas are cheaparses no offence, but i'm not going to fork out $600 for a brake upgrade when i know with a little time and effort i could make something fit.
custom hubs tho.. now thats an idea
if custom hubs were easy, ie specify what car, where you want disc and where you want wheel mounting face, what stud/disc mounting spacing.. this would simplify almost ALL brake upgrades.
you could just pick a disc that is near to what you need in size, then make a hub to suit. backing plates are easy too, but again, if you made it easy for someone to say what strut mount holes, what caliper, and what disc size, that would save so much stuffing around.
