I can,t find any information on the 1.8
Can i use the cranck to strock the 1.6 or is it completly different?

Look for 7AGE, a hybrid of the 4AGE and the 7AFE engines. The new Corollas run a 1ZZFE which as mentioned is totally different.

i have seen it done
not a strong engine but i take big bucks to make it strong
bottom end is as week as piss apparantly

the impression i get form taking notice of various posts is that its the rods which are the weak link, but on a near stock application, they can work just fine.
