FS - 7M-GTE/MA61 P/Steer & A/Con gear Sun, 26 September 2004 02:05 Go to next message
Hi peoples,

I am/have removed the Power stering and Air con from my MA61 with a late model 7M-GTE.

I have available the following ;

Power Steering : (was in fine working order when removed from 7M-GTE)
* Power steering pump
* Power Steering reservoir
* lines and brackets

Air Con : (was working before conversion - 18 months ago, but just needed gassing from 7M-GTE/MA61)
* Air Con Compressor & Brackets
* Condensor, filter, fan and associated stuff from the front of an MA61

7M-GTE oil cooler - Factory engine oil cooler that is ideal to be a better power steering cooler than the normal bit of tube

All reasonable offers considered

Cheers

Michael B

Ha-ha!

Michael, having heating problems too? I plan to remove my AC stuff (to improve airflow to the radiator) next weekend. Getting the AC working is less of a priority that keeping the engine cool.

Justin
PS: Was it particularly difficult removing the condensor without taking off the front bumper and FMIC?

Haha, all these people fighting to remove and sell their A/C gear and here is me doing the opposite to try and get the damn thing back in. It comes out very easy, I've removed the stuff from the parts car. *Legally* you need to get someone to remove all the gas from the system anyway.

I haven't hot a pic at the moment, but I'll try. Suffice to say that it is more like a trans oil cooler than a 'proper' OIL cooler.

It has push on fittings for 3/8" (or thereabouts) hose

Cheers

Justin - No I don't have any heating problems, I just want to make it easier to mount the oil cooler and FMIC, and as it isn't a daily driver, it is not that important to me

Nathan - I have no gas in it now, but you are correct !!!

That is where it has all come out from, so it should all go back in !!!

Let me know, and if you want me to hold it for you, give me a deposit, and I'll keep it aside until you are ready

It came from a 7M-GTE engine, so can only presume that it will fit, as there is nothing special in this area as far as I am aware.

Make me an offer I can't refuse and it's yours. $50 sounds like a nice figure Very Happy

No idea I'm afarid as far as the gas goes ?

Cheers

OK, so that is the A/C Compressor gone, abd RA65Sleeker has snaffled the p/s pipes and A/C pipes, so all that is left is ;

Power steering pump
Power Steering reservoir
A/C Condenser

Any sensible offer, and their yours

Cheers

Michael B

Keech1, I'll give you a buzz later today.
