Rear Sway bar installation on st162 Mon, 27 September 2004 14:07 Go to next message
I'm installing a whiteline rear sway bar on a st162 SX within the next week.. I heard that it is necessary to drop the fuel tank... Wasn't too keen on that idea just because its not somethin i wanted to muck around with, is there any ideas to replace the bar without having to remove or drop the tank

Thanx

Adrian

Get the car up on car ramps & have a look.

My Whiteline bar required the straps holding the tank to be undone as the bar ran in the gap in between, but that's all.
Support the tank by other means.

BTW this wasn't on a Celica, so like I said, have a look for yourself.
