Yeah it sure adds up. Bellhousing, flywheel, clutch, cooler, radiator, mounts, diff, rear brakes, front brakes, gearbox, engineering labour etc etc.
It will be worth it in the end. Yes...it will be worth it.
Thankfully there isnt much else to do. A fuel tank and fuel lines, finish off a few brake lines and small shit like that.

Looking good shane. Some nice touches there and obviously you have spent plenty of time getting things done properly. Much kudos.
It's amazing how much things add up.
My car owes me abiout $12k so far, including the $5k I paid for it. The other $7k is tidying up, upgrading I/C, brakes etc, and the engine swap was already done !!!!!!

Nice work.
25k ? Methinks I'll be going the custom cable tie support rather than custom alloy..
Alot of work there, will be good to see in the flesh.

Man, the body is fugly, but all the mechanical work done is mighty sweet I just hope my 5S-GE -> TA-23 doesn't cost as much!!! (I doubt it will)

Ok people after adding up a few costs today it seems Im not close to the 25K mark.
However once the full cage, stainless exhaust and recaros are fitted along with engineering and other small things i'm sure i'll smash the 25k mark
Please assure me it will all be worth it

Well, over here in the west, a full chrome molly, tower to tower, CAMS approved cage can range from $4000 to $8000 depending on who makes them.
A mate of mine is a coded welder and he has made several cages and he said he would charge me $4000 for mine(ST165)
I suppose you can't skimp on safety

In a few of the pictures above of the completed tank you may be able to see the top of the tank is sucked in, this was caused by the tig welder sucking all the oxygen out. The tank will sit over the weekend to see is any air gets in, and this will be the test to see if it all sealed like it should have.
