New shoes and new slave cylinder's will help, new drums will also give you an improvement you can feel. But its money perhaps wasted if your aim is to improve overall braking performance. The front brakes do 80% of the overall work in slowing down your car, so any money spent there first will improve your braking quicker than spending money on the rear brakes.

EBC stock Greenstuff brake linings for TA22. although this is a good idead for increased braking performance, on such a light car the benefits would not be all that necessary. don't consider the drums as being usless. on a TA22 they are quite large and work very well...

yep agreed probly not worth spending the money on, thanks anyway, what brake pads would i use on the front for best braking.
And for anyone who says get bigger disks that is not an option at this point.
thanks

Hey,
yeah just thought i'd pop in and ask about improving the front brakes of the TA22 seeing how you mentioned it.
I've already had my fronts apart and polished the cylinder and stuff cause it was seized when i bought it.
These are the old brakes where the there are the small metal plates that it slides along. Are there more modern brakes that bolt straight up from say a later model like the ra28, ra40 etc?
Any recomendations for the pads as well?
