Finally got off my arse and bought me an Xbox and ironically now i am back on my ass 
Does anyone on t o y m o d s! play online?
It is actually more fun than sitting at a computer playing online becuase you dont have issues with lag and crashes and all the other bullshit normally associated with playing on a PC.
I am playing PG2 atm and it seems like good fun although the americans never shut up about how great their country is, I had one call me kangaroo jack last night...

Xbox live rocks, except when the gay yankees come on and start bitching cos you nudged them into a wall and if they are hosting they kick you, its all good tho when you are playing with the brits cos they are a good laugh and they blatantly dont give a flying fuck, oh and they drill the crap out of the yankees when they come on

I dont get bugger all lag, most of the people you play with are from overseas however there are some aussies around but it is rare...When you find one you generally add them to your list so you can see when they are online and shit

why dont you just use XBconnect, then you dont have to give microsoft the money that they didnt make by selling you the XBOX for less than it cost them to make, if that makes sense.
i havent played online with mine, a mate has, but it is usually topspin or tony dork's, which is about as interesting as something that isnt very interesting.

sorry dude, should have been more clear,
XBCONNECT is like a free xbox live, i think it is used about as much as xbox live too, i dont know heaps about it as i only have narrowband (dialup) google it and you should be able to get info pretty easy.
hope this helps a bit more
