Hi,
Call Toyota in Melbourne, or one of the larger Toyota Dealers down there. A lot of the parts, mainly gaskets, I get for my 18RG seem to be sourced from Melbourne. Dunno where in Melbourne, I just ask Toyota (local dealership) for these parts and usually they say "there's one in Melb and it's being shipped up 2nite".

Um, 10mm thick? That's not a gasket, it's a phenolic spacer. Not sure where you'd get one new, but you could probably get one made up if you spoke to a carby specialist.

Hi,
Try Sean Maloney - he's an engine guy and does (or used to) 18RG engines. I think he's based down in Melbourne. Give him a try. Maybe he can get one or knows where you could find one.

Hi,
Okay, try James Sloane - Castle Hill Toyota (NSW) on 02-9680-2233. Tell him exactly what it is you're after. He's got the microfiche stuff and will be able to get the part number, and hopefully see if one is around. Tell him you spoke to Shane (the RA25 owner - he knows me, or should I say he knows my car pretty well now and is very useful in getting parts). That's the best I can do to help.

It's between the carbs and the inlet manifold right? The 18R-GEU uses a DCOE pattern manifold, so you should be able to get DCOE phenolic spacers from a carby shop. Like I said earlier, speak to a carby specialist in your area, if they don't have what you need they'll be able to point you in the right direction.
And before you ask:
