toyota offers a turbocharger pack through rick bates for both the echo and mr2 syder. Its a low boost pack and claims to boost power by 50% but mainly aims at providing a good torque curve. That would mean 120kw for the 1.5 and around 90kw for the 1.3. NOt sure on pricing but it wasn't too expensive, but my uncle had the 1.5 and it already suffered pretty badly from torque steer so serious suspension possibly even lsd should be considered with the turbo

Great job Kelvin.. I see you have the Monza 633 seat in there. They are a nice comfortable seat, and fairly affordable too.
The car is looking the goods. I know what it's like having a car that not everybody wants to modify, but it can be done and surprises quite a few people too.
I need me some of those floor mats... have to get a mate of mine to fabricate them for me. Interior neons will follow soon too.
Keep it up, it's looking great.

How much was it, and what's the weight difference between the new bonnet and the original?
Front-end weight reduction is something I find VERY interseting
